Police probe surgery roof damage

Police are investigating an incident in which damage was caused to the roof of a surgery on the Mountsandel Road, Coleraine.

Constable Darryl Robinson said: “Damage was caused to the roof of the building when tiles were damaged. This may have been an attempt to gain access to the building, or an attempt to steal the tiles. There looks to be around £1000 worth of damage at this stage.

“Police believe that the damage was caused sometime between 8pm on Friday 12 September and the morning of Monday 15 September. If you have any information that can assist the investigation, please call police on the new non-emergency 101 number.”
