Police seize over £2,000 worth of drugs in Newtownabbey

Detailing Thursday’s seizure, a PSNI spokesperson said: “Newtownabbey Neighbourhood Team had success, which may not be the biggest, but follows a lot of work and comes as a result of lots of bits of information, which created a picture that allowed us to get warrants, conduct a search, take drugs off the streets and prevent them being pushed on our children.

“In total it was over £2,000 of cocaine and cannabis seized, along with removing the means to pedal more.

“Addiction is a terrible experience for all those affected, whether that is the addict, their friends, their family or the wider community as a whole.
