Police speak to men about ‘rogue trading’ in Whitehead

Police have appealed for the public to be alert following a report of people acting suspiciously in Whitehead yesterday (Wednesday)

PSNI Mid and East Antrim stated: “This afternoon we received a report of people calling to addresses and acting suspiciously in Whitehead.

“Officers from our Local Policing Team stopped the van mentioned in the report and spoke to a couple of men about rogue trading.

“As part of this investigation we would like anyone who was approached today to contact us on 101. Our reference number is 1145 9/9/20.

“As always we can only achieve so much on our own and I appeal to everyone if you see a suspicious person or vehicle calling at your neighbours or even your own house call us straight away.”
