Police to step up patrols to curb anti-social behaviour in Draperstown

Police warn they will be taking a "zero tolerance" approach to anyone engaging in anti-social behaviour in Draperstown.

They say they will be patrolling the town centre area extensively over the next few weeks.

In a social media post, Mid Ulster police said: "At present work is being carried out to revitalise the centre of Draperstown adjacent to the Plantin for all members of the local community to enjoy. Unfortunately we are receiving reports of anti social behaviour in that area including property being damaged.

"Police will be patrolling this area extensively over the next few weeks and will be taking a zero tolerance approach to anyone found to be committing offences".
