Police uncover £15,000 worth of Class A and B drugs

The news was welcomed as an “excellent result” by local MP Carla Lockhart.

Police said: “On Friday (July 31) local officers searched a house in Portadown recovering approximately £15,000 of suspected controlled drugs of Class A and B, along with cash.

“A 33 year old man was arrested and is now bailed.”

They encouraged anyone with information about the drug trade or other crimes to contact the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111, which they said is always anonymous.
