£10k worth of drugs seized
DRUGS worth £10,000 were seized in Banbridge last week along with a blank firing pistol and what is thought to be a handgun.
Police searched a house at Halls Mill Green in Laurencetown late on Friday morning as part of a joint operation with the UK Border Agency against the importation of illegal drugs.
Suspected ketamine, cocaine and cannabis were seized and a man in his 20s was arrested. Tests are ongoing to establish if the handgun is genuine.
