£12k damage to combine harvester
POLICE in Cookstown are appealing for information about “an act of wanton vandalism” that caused damage of up to £12,000 to a combine harvester.
Sometime between 2pm on June 5 and 9am the next day, a pipe from an oil pump on the machine was removed. This caused oil to leak and the pump to seize.
The damage was caused at a farmyard at Castlefarm Road, Stewartstown.
