PSNI appeal following report of vehicle hijacking
Police in Foyle are appealing for information following the report of a vehicle hijacking in the Carnhill area of Shantallow in Londonderry in the early hours of Thursday, March 6.
At around 1.30am a man was assaulted by a number of males and had his car, a blue Toyota Starlet, taken. The man suffered cuts and bruising to his face. The car was reported being driven in the Benview Estate, Coshquin with three males on board at around 1.45am and later recovered from this area where it had been abandoned. The three males were described as being around 17 years old, about 5’9” tall and were all wearing jeans. One male wore a dark coloured Superdry coat, one a white jacket and the third male wore a multi-coloured top with a white hood.
