PSNI appeal for help to solve crime

Police in Foyle are appealing for witnesses in relation to the following incidents.

Officers investigating an assault on a man in the Temple Road area of Strathfoyle are keen to speak to a woman who answered the door to the victim shortly after the attack which involved two men in possession of wooden planks. The incident happened between 6.30am and 7am on Sunday, September 8th.

Police are investigating a collision between two cars at the Waterside end of the Foyle Bridge shortly before 6pm on Tuesday, September 10th. It is understood the driver of a maroon VW Passat collided with a silver VW Passat as the driver was in the left-hand lane waiting to turn left onto the Clooney carriageway. No serious injuries or damage reported however police are keen to establish the precise circumstances of the incident and would like to hear from anyone in the area at the time.

Meanwhile the investigating officer is keen to identify the driver of a

Dark coloured Range Rover that collided with a parked car on Spencer Road around 8.30pm on September 13th. The parked car sustained considerable damage to the passenger side doors and front and back wing.

Officers made an arrest after a man was reported to have been knocked unconscious following an assault by a person on a bicycle in Guildhall Square around 6.30pm on September 13th. It is believed the incident was witnessed by a number of people who police would be keen to hear from.
