PSNI appeal on Clooney assault
Foyle police have appealed for information following an assault at Clooney Road on Tuesday, May 19.
A 20-year-old woman needed hospital treatment.
It happened between 12.30pm and 2pm on Clooney Road, between Gransha and the Maydown roundabout.
A 17-year-old male was arrested and later charged with grievous bodily harm and two counts of common assault.
Police are appealing for witnesses to this assault and anyone with any information is asked to contact Public Protection in Strand Road Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
