PSNI arrest 10 for drug related offending

Police in Derry have made 10 arrests in relation to suspected drugs offences over the past week.

Two men aged 31 and 20 were arrested on suspicion of supplying a Class B drug following a search of a house in the Bogside area.

A 41-year-old man was arrested after police found suspected Class B drugs during a search in the Waterside area of the city.

A 34-year-old man was arrested and bailed for possessing a Class B drug in the Edenballymore area.

And three men aged 39, 41 and 17 were arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class B drug with intent to supply after a car was stopped at Beechwood Crescent.

A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing illegal drugs following a house search at Northland Road.

A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class B drug following a house search at John Street.

And a 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class B drug in the Moss Park area.

All were released on police bail pending further enquiries.
