PSNI: Do not leave valuables in cars

Police in the Waterside area are once again appealing for car owners not to leave valuables in their vehicles at night.

The warning follows a spate of incidents in the Cawhill, Bayswater, Rosslyn Close, Rosswater and Clearwater areas on Thursday night and Friday morning last.

In many of the incidents, thieves gained access to unlocked cars and garages.

Meanwhile, a 32-year-old man arrested in the Ebrington Terrace area on March 11 has been charged with burglary to appear at Londonderry Magistrates’ Court next month.
