On Saturday, a gang of three men stole several hundred pounds worth of football tops from a sports shop in the Crescent Link retail park.

The same men then went into the City Centre to a store on Ferryquay Street and cleared out a display of about 30 designer shirts worth about £750. Police then received another report that on Tuesday, March 25, the same gang of men entered a shop at Carlisle Road and stole six pairs of jeans total valued at £600. In each case, the gang used a box inside a large blue Argos bag.
