PSNI investigate laptop theft in city
Detectives at Strand Road in Londonderry have appealed for information following the theft of a laptop computer, which was stolen from a man in the city centre.
A PSNI spokeman said that at about 3am on Saturday, July 5, a man was walking along the road at Patrick Street carrying a suitcase and he had his laptop in a shoulder bag.
“Three men stopped him and asked for a light, then knocked him to the ground and stole the laptop bag,” the PSNI spokeman said.
Anyone who saw the incident or who can provide any information can pass on what they know using the police non-emergency number, 101, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
