PSNI warn farmers to be vigilant following series of thefts in Magherafelt area

Police say they are investigating a series of thefts and attempted thefts of vehicles and farm equipment.

Incidents have been reported in Draperstown, Magherafelt, Desertmartin, Ballymaguigan and Ballyronan areas.

In a social media post the PSNI said: "As a result we are asking the public especially the farming community to be vigilant ensuring they have taken all reasonable measures to protect their property."
