Public Order offender in court
A man has appeared in court accused of assaulting police and behaving in a disorderly manner in Altnagelvin Hospital.
Edward Doherty (24), of Burnside Manor, is charged with two counts of assault on police, disorderly behaviour and resisting police on July 9. The offences took place in the A&E Department in Altnagelvin Hospital in full view of patients and staff and Doherty was bail to appear in court again on August 14.
He was banned from being intoxicated in public and from attending Altnagelvin Hospital.
