Rathfriland murder organiser dead

A MAN believed to have ordered the murder of two men in a house in Rathfriland in 2009 was gunned down in broad daylight on a Dublin Street last week.

Michael “Mica” Kelly is thought to have organised the murder of Dubliners David Lindsay and Alan Napper, who were heavily involved in drug trafficking in the 1990s.

Lindsay and Napper were last seen alive in July 2008 in Clane, Co Kildare, where they had borrowed a car to travel to Northern Ireland. But they walked into a double-cross, organised by Kelly, and were murdered in the house in Rathfriland - although no bodies have ever been found.

Kelly (30) was believed to have been previously targeted by a hitman, hired by Lindsay, over a £1m debt.
