Residents voice concerns about Whitewell road safety

Police have conducted road safety operations in the Whitewell area of Newtownabbey after concerns were raised by residents in the region.

Commenting on yesterday’s (Thursday) operations, a PSNI spokesperson said: “Following reports from concerned residents, officers have been conducting road safety operations this morning (January 13) on the Whitewell Road and surrounding areas.

“We will continue to do so in order to detect drivers who put others at risk.”
