Robbery duo remanded in custody
Two men involved in a robbery in Lurgan have been remanded in custody before they are sentenced next month.
Thirty year old William Jones, Drumgor, Craigavon, and 37 year old William George Stewart, Knocknashane Meadows, Lurgan, appeared in the dock last Friday at Craigavon Crown Court.
Jones is charged with robbery, carrying a firearm with intent, assault on the police and resisting the police.
Stewart faces charges of robbery, possession of an offensive weapon and resisting police.
Both were remanded in custody so that pre-sentence reports can be prepared for their sentencing on October 4.
