Rose-sellerrobbery claim

A TWENTY-FOUR-YEAR-OLD man claims to have been robbed by a female rose-seller outside a pub in Londonderry city centre during a one hour and 15 minute window in the early hours of Sunday, August 19.

The victim told police he was standing outside the pub in Bank Place counting money some time between 1.45am and 3am on August 19, when the incident occurred.

The woman snatched a sum of cash from the male and headed off in the direction of Guildhall Square where she got into a car with a number of men.

The woman is described as foreign nationality, approximately 50 years of age, 5ft 4” tall, heavy build with black hair. She was wearing a headscarf and baggy clothing and was carrying roses.
