Security alert in Lurgan
Police are dealing with a security alert in Lurgan.
A caller to the Lurgan Mail said a suspect object had been discovered in the Carrigart Manor area.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police are currently in attendance following the discovery of a suspicious object in the Carrigart Manor area of Craigavon.”
There are no further details at this stage.
It follows a security alert in the nearby Gilpinstown Road area on Friday night where a viable device was discovered by the security forces.
