Sharp-nosed cops smell cannabis from car being driven on M1
Police have revealed they found cannabis in a vehicle after noticing a smell while driving behind it on the M1.

A PSNI spokesperson explained how officers from Mahon Road road policing unit were on patrol on the motorway yesterday (Thursday, March 10) when they detected a smell of cannabis from the vehicle in front.
The vehicle was stopped and a quantity of the drug found.
“The driver will be reported to the Public Prosecution Service,” the spokesperson said.
