Urging drivers to be cautious in a post on social media, a PSNI spokesperson said: “Larne Neighbourhood Policing Team have been conducting laser speed checks across the district today.
“We have had to issue several fixed penalty tickets due to excess speed. Please make sure you leave enough time for your journey and be cautious of unexpected road conditions in these colder mornings.”
