Stolen car recovered near Lurgan

Police have recovered a stolen car in the Magheralin area.

The PSNI received a report on Thursday July 21 at 1.20am of a stolen silver Toyota Corolla car taken from McDonald’s Terrace.

Officers attended and found the car on its roof on Damhill Road at 1.34am.

Two teenagers, aged 16 and 17 years old were apprehended in Alfred Terrace shortly before 1.45am.

The 17 year old was arrested for taking and causing damage to a vehicle, dangerous driving, driving whilst unfit and other motoring offences.

The 16 year old male was arrested for allowing himself to be carried.

Both were later released on bail pending further enquiries.
