Stretch of Castledawson Road reopens after police closure

A short section of the Castledawson Road, Magherafelt, has reopened after being closed for several hours this morning.

The stretch of roadway from the roundabout to Bowman's Road was cordoned off for most of the morning.

The PSNI said they were dealing with "an ongoing incident" but no further details are available.

The road reopened again around 12 noon.
