Suspected vandalism ‘not acceptable’
Councillor Mark Baxter has branded unacceptable a suspected incident of vandalism in Waringstown recently.
“I was contacted by residents in Waringstown, very concerned about suspected vandalism of the bus shelter between Windsor Hill and Brae Meadows on the Easter Weekend . I’ve arranged to have it fixed and glass cleaned up but yet again the bill for this will be picked up by the ratepayer .
“The cost of these events to the council costs £1000s per year, having an effect on essential frontline services; it really isn’t acceptable.”
