Teacher was speeding
A teacher with a Ballymoney address has been given three penalty points and fined £100 for speeding and failing to produce her full driving licence to police.
Elizabeth Thompson (27), of Donaghbrook Drive, was detected doing 44mph in a 30mph zone at Mountsandel Road, Coleraine, on December 2 last year.
She failed to bring her licence to police within seven days although her barrister told Coleraine Magistrates Court on June 8 the defendant could not find the paper part of the licence.
