Teen handstands on A1 bridge rail
A teenager was filmed performing handstands on the railings of a bridge over the A1.
Police were made aware of this activity by motorists and attended the area and spoke to two male teenagers, aged 17 and 18, who confirmed that one had been filming the other doing handstands for a project involving the internet.
Inspector Nigel Graham, Banbridge Response and Neighbourhood, said: “This type of activity is foolhardy in the extreme, all it takes is one small slip for someone to be seriously injured or killed.
“This type of activity is completely unacceptable.”
