Teenager charged with false imprisonment and assault

Aaron Donnelly, aged 19, with an address at Strand Foyer, admitted a total of seven charges, which included a charge of assault as well as one charge of false imprisonment.

The Court was told that the offences related to an incident on or between May 2013 and January 2014, which involved a woman.

The 19-year-old accused denied a further charge of making a threat to kill the woman.

Londonderry Crown Court was told that a trial date has been fixed for November to hear the case against Donnelly.

The accused was released on continuing bail and will appear in court again on August 27.
