Thefts from cars
Police are appealing for information following a number of reports of vehicle interference in the Templegrove area during the early hours of Sunday morning, December 2.
Sometime before 5am a blue Renault Espace was entered and a handbag was stolen containing jewellery and a sum of cash. A number of items from the handbag were found discarded and if anyone finds a small black purse in the local area they are asked to inform police. A silver coloured VW Golf and a Citroen C3 were also entered and rifled through.
Police are urging all motorists to ensure they do not leave valuables in their vehicles and to ensure they are securely locked at all times.
Anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the Templegrove or Whitehouse Road areas should contact Police at Strand Road.
