Thief busy at Mounted Games

POLICE in Lurgan are appealing for information following the theft of equestrian equipment from the European Mounted Games at Lough Road.

Some time between 7.50am and 8.30am on Sunday, August 21, two horse blankets and a leather head collar were taken.

One of the blankets was a red Equiport horse blanket with green trim and had the words ‘Windsor 2010’ and ‘Michaela’ embroidered in white on the side along with the three Welsh white feather crest. The other blanket was plain black fleece.

These items are of great sentimental value to their owner and would have very little resale value. Police are appealing to anyone who has knowledge of their whereabouts to contact them in Lurgan on 0845 600 8000.
