Thieves make off with gardening equipment in Magherafelt
Police in Magherafelt are appealing for witnesses following a burglary of a shed to the rear of a residential property on the Castledawson Road, Magherafelt
Constable Mark Chambers said; “It was reported that between 12.30pm last Sunday and 12.30pm on Tuesday entry was gained to the shed and a Stihl chainsaw, leaf blower and hedge cutter were taken.
“We are appealing for anyone with information who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or have information about the incident or anyone who may be offered similar items for sale in suspicious circumstances to contact Police in Magherafelt on 101 quoting reference 834 1/11/16. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
