Thieves make off with two excavators and a dumper truck from yard

Two excavators and a dumper truck have been stolen from a yard at Loughmallion Road, Dungannon.

Police are appealing for information about the theft which took place on Friday night.

It was reported to police on Saturday that two orange Hitachi Zaxis excavators and a yellow Bardford Dumper Truck were taken from a yard sometime between 5pm on Friday, August 21st and 9am on Saturday morning. It is believed they may have been taken at around 11.30 pm.

Officers are asking anyone who was travelling in the vicinity of the Loughmallon Road in Dungannon on Friday evening and who may have noticed any suspicious activity, or saw the excavators or dumper trucks travelling along the road, to contact them in Omagh on 101 quoting reference number 483 of 22/18/20.

Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
