Three arrested and bailed for drug offences in Magherafelt

Two females and male were arrested for various drug offences during a search of an address in Magherafelt town centre.

Police say officers from the local neighbourhood police team executed two warrants allowing them to search for drugs, cash, mobile phones and documents relating to drug dealing.

In a social media post, the police said the three were arrested and bailed while enquiries continue.

Meanwhile in Dungannon drugs valued at £9,000 were seized following a search of a property at Carland Road.

A 50-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession and cultivation of a Class B drug. He is expected to appear at the local Magistrates Court in October.
