Three attacked by gang of fifteen men

Police area appealing for information following an assault in the Railway Road area of Coleraine on the evening of Saturday, April 11.

Three men were on an evening out in the town when they were attacked by about fifteen other men at around 7:20pm.

Chief Inspector Mark McClarence said: “Three arrests were made by police but we are still keen to gain as much information as possible from anyone in the area at the time of the assaults.

“This incident involved about fifteen people on three. The three men did not suffer any serious injuries but one was taken to hospital to be treated for concussion.
