Two men face combined total of 20 criminal charges following burglary and assault

Two men face a total of 20 combined offences in relation to an attack on a 29-year-old man during a burglary in Co Londonderry.

It happened on Strabane Old Road to the south of the city on Saturday.

A 23-year-old man is charged with 13 offences, and a 27-year-old man is charged with seven offences including aggravated burglary, grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.

They are expected to appear at Londonderry Magistrates court on Monday.

Police investigating this incident are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a red Audi A4 being abandoned in the area of Milltown View in Drumahoe on Saturday morning.
