Two sent for trial over assault

Two Lurgan men have been returned for trial to Craigavon Crown Court.

Gareth Carson (22), Glenfield Road, and Stevie Lee Watson (25), Orient Circle, appeared at a preliminary enquiry last Friday at Craigavon courthouse.

They are charged with damaging a mobile phone and car on September 26 last year .

And they are also charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm on a male on October 26, 2012.

Both were returned on their own bail of £500 to appear for arraignment at Craigavon Crown Court on November 12.
