Two teenagers in hospital after assault in NI town

Two teenagers were taken to hospital after an assault at a house in an NI town.

The PSNI said it received a report from Northern Ireland Ambulance Service of an assault in the Donard Gardens area of Lurgan on Tuesday evening January 26.

Sergeant Conway said: “We were notified, just before 8.30pm on Tuesday, that two men had been assaulted at a house in the area.

“The two – both aged in their teens – sustained head injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.

“We are working to establish a motive and enquiries are ongoing.

“We would appeal to anyone with information to contact us on 101 quoting reference number 1556 of 26/01/21.”
