Tyrone police probe cutting of internet cable on two occasions

Dungannon police are investigating the cutting of an internet connection cable on two occasions.

They have issued an appeal for information in relation to criminal damage in the Tullyallen Road area of Dungannon this week.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “We received a report on Tuesday 24th January that around 9pm on Sunday 22nd January, it was reported that an internet connection cable had been cut in the area. At around 6pm on Thursday 26th January, it was reported that the same internet connection cable was again damaged.

“Enquiries are continuing in relation to both incidents, which are both being linked at this time. We would appeal to anyone with any information in relation to both incidents, should contact police on 101 quoting reference number 2029 24/01/23."
