Uninsured car seized in Newtownabbey

Police have issued a reminder to motorists after an uninsured vehicle was seized by officers in Newtownabbey last night (Wednesday).

Detailing the incident on the Police Antrim and Newtownabbey Facebook page today (January 13), a PSNI spokesperson said: “Last night officers from Newtownabbey Neighbourhood Policing Team seized this car after it was seen being driven without insurance.

“The law regarding insurance is clear and drivers should check the appropriate cover is in place before taking to the road.”
