‘Unknown substance’ caused significant damage to vehicle, says PSNI

Police said they don’t ‘wish to alarm’ the public after an ‘unknown substance’ was used to damage a vehicle in an NI town.

The PSNI said damage was caused to the vehicle early yesterday morning (Tuesday February 16) in Portadown, Co Armagh.

The incident happened between 5am and 7am in the Abercorn Park Area.

A PSNI spokesperson said those who carried out the attack ‘have caused damage to the paint work of a vehicle by applying a unknown substance causing significant damage’.

“We do not wish to alarm you, but you may be able to help us find those responsible and assist in preventing further offences in your neighbourhood.
