Warning after break-in
Police are advising residents in the Lowry’s Lane area to be vigilant following a break-in at house in the area this week.
Nothing was taken however the culprits left a ladder behind.
“Sometimes burglars will pose as tradesmen in an effort not to look out of place in residential areas. If you see workmen at a neighbour’s house but find they are acting suspiciously then please do not hesitate to contact police. You are not wasting police time and could potentially prevent a crime taking place on your street,” a PSNI spokesman said.
