Warning after home is robbed in Lurgan
After a burglary and attempted burglarys in Lurgan on Monday, police have urged the public to contact them immediately they notice anything suspicious.
At 11.35 am the occupants of a house in Oakridge returned home to find three men trying to get into the back of their house. The males made off without getting in.
And in The Grange a house was broken into sometime between the morning and 1.28pm. A number of rooms were ransacked and jewellery taken.
Inspector Ken Annett, Lurgan Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “I cannot stress enough the importance of contacting police when you notice anything out of the ordinary in your neighbourhood”
