Wheel brace robbery

Detectives in Londonderry are appealing for information following an armed robbery on Saturday 11 January in the Park Avenue area. At approximately 8.40pm, two males entered a commercial premises and demanded money. One of the males was armed with a wheel brace. They made off with a sum of cash in the direction of Upper Nassau Street. No-one was injured in the incident which is believed to have happened at a newsagents.

The first male is described as being approximately 5’11” tall, of slim build and was wearing a light grey hooded top and light grey tracksuit bottoms.

The second male is described as being approximately 5’7” tall, of medium build and was wearing a dark grey hooded top.
