Witness appeal
Police in Foyle are appealing for a taxi driver who stopped to offer assistance to a man being assaulted on Carlisle Road around 2.30am on March 28 to contact them.
It is understood the victim was attacked by a group of males as he was walking past a jewellers shop.
The taxi driver, or anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police, a member of the NPSNI eighbourhood Team or Crimestoppers.
