Witness appeal after man and woman injured in separate assaults at same house

The PSNI said they receive reports of the assaults at a house in Thomas St on Wednesday July 22.

It is understood a hammer may have been used in one of the assaults.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Reports were received that a man and woman were assaulted at the house, with the man requiring hospital treatment for an injury to his arm whilst the woman sustained bruising as a result.

“Two men aged 38 and 48 were arrested in relation to the assaults and have been released on bail whilst police enquiries continue.

“Anyone with any information or who may be able to help with the investigation, is asked to call police in Lurgan on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference number 1517 22/07/20, or submit a report online using our non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.
