Witness appeal after NI church broken into

Police have appealed for witnesses after a church in NI was broken into last night.

The PSNI said there was criminal damage to the church in Lurgan, Co Armagh.

On the Police Police Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon Facebook last night they appealed for witnesses.

A spokesperson said: “At approximately 8pm tonight (Monday night) a window at St John’s Parish Church on Sloan Street, Lurgan was broken.

“If you have seen anything in the area around this time please contact Police on 101 quoting the reference 1673 of 31/08/2020 or you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
