Witnesses sought after car stolen in Larne

Police are appealing for information after a car was stolen in the Main Street area of Larne.

The Times understands the incident occurred at approximately 4.15pm on Friday, November 13, but information was only made public by police last night (December 10).

Detailing the incident, a PSNI spokesperson said: “At around this time a black Seat Alhambra was stolen from Main Street, Larne, close to the Post Office, before driving towards the Rugby Club, Glynn, where it was abandoned.

“Police are appealing for anyone with any information regarding the matter to contact them on 101 and quote reference 1239 of 13/11.
