Witnesses sought after incident on M2 and M5

Police have launched an appeal for information after an incident at the ‘split’ of the M2 and M5 motorways on Sunday, November 22.

Detailing the incident, which occurred at approximately 3.25pm, a spokesperson for the PSNI Road Policing team said: “The incident occurred on the M2/M5 ‘split’ northbound and involved a dark coloured Mercedes braking heavily on the M2 and then swerving onto the M5 to travel towards Carrickfergus.

“If you witnessed this, or have dash cam footage of this incident, please contact police on 101, quoting incident 986 of 22.11.20.”
