Witnesses sought after Newtownabbey hit and run

Police are appealing for information following a hit and run road traffic collision in the Doagh Road area of Newtownabbey.

The incident occurred at around 4.20pm on Thursday, January 21 outside Rathcoole Filling Station.

Detailing the incident, a PSNI spokesperson said: “The suspect vehicle is described as a black 4x4 which crashed into the back of another vehicle, causing substantial damage, before making off at speed.

“If anyone witnessed this incident, or has relevant dashcam footage, please contact 101, quoting serial 1208 of 21/01/21.”
